A two-piece schedule for today:
According to a friendly commenter named Ben, Rod & Martha Stewart will not be playing. If you’ve got any more information on it, let us know what you know on the commentssssss. The M’s, as part of Polyvinyl’s showcase, will be stellar, and though the grid doesn’t show it, PWRFL Power, Grampall Jookabox and High Places is a free show in Krannert’s lobby.

Boy, festivals are time consuming, so posting is behind schedule. (Apologies all around). Photos from a few of Thursday’s shows are currently up (and reviews of them are coming soon), but a full recap of the rest of the night (Butterfly Assassins, Dark Meat, Dan Deacon) will be posted by tomorrow.
I’m off to the festival, but if you even have the tiniest dancing bone in your body, you’ll hit up The Hood Internet later tonight. See you there!

So, unfortunately, last night’s photos aren’t up yet, and will hopefully be posted by late afternoon. Instead of waking up early and working, the morning was spent cooking for our houseguests, Oxford Collapse.
Stay tuned to the site for yesterday’s review! Be back soon.

I’m keeping the writing brief on this one, considering it’s 4:12 AM and we spent the night…well, I’ll spill the details on that tomorrow. Aaaaand, the schedule! It’s a bit wonky, but fuck it, I’m a photoshop noob.

Due to a personal emergency, The Brother Whys will not be playing this afternoon at Canopy as scheduled. A huge thanks to Elle Destree over at the217.com for letting overUC know about the schedule change!

The site is almost reached its 10,000th visitor! Which is exciting. So exciting, that if you notice you are the lucky 10,000th visitor on the right-side toolbar while browsing, you can send an e-mail with a screenshot of the counter at OverUC@gmail.com, and I’ll give you a stack of brand new, shiny, free CDs! Sound good?
(Psst – if you’re 10,0001 or 10,0002 you might want to drop me a line just in case no one else claims it…)
Happy contesting!

The wonderful guys that run EatCU.com have been offering a special deal during the festival, so make sure to take advantage. After all, a fan’s gotta eat sometime, right?
In case you’re having trouble reading through the image’s fuzziness, there’s $2 off of Blue’s (code PYGBB1) and $2 off Manolo’s (PYGMAN 1) for the first 200 customers who get their grub through the site. Enjoy!
