The M’s, Canopy Club:

Headlights, Canopy Club:

Saturday night’s performance was by far the best Headlights show I’ve ever seen. The audience was downright loving it, and the high-energy display of songs both new and older left Erin Fein smiling largely throughout the show. The band was charmingly happy from start to finish, and it was fantastic to have such a warm hometown welcome for Headlights, especially before they embark on a European tour.
Asobi Seksu, Canopy Club:

Polyvinyl’s Saturday night lineup was one of the best of the fest, and the final performance by Asobi Seksu couldn’t have closed out Pygmalion any better. The crowd — including the girl who was clearly tripping on some sort of drugs in front of me — danced along to the group’s noisy, electronic rock while singer/keyboardist Yuki Chikudate threw her whole body into her playing, providing a grand visual of their music’s fervor.
4th Seksu picture may be one of the most unintentionally sexy shots I’ve ever seen. Way to go, Wisel.
Thanks for perv-ing all over the site’s comment area, Mike
the bassist for seksu looks like ellen’s brother.
