Where I’ll Be: at Sunset Stallion’s WEFT Session.
You Should Be: Listening in! 10pm, WEFT 90.1 FM
Tuesday, September 9:
Where I’ll Be: Punch Brothers(!!!) at Canopy Club, 7:30pm.
You Should See: Nothing else but this show. Chris Thile is unbelievable, and so is the group of guys he’s playing with. This will most likely be my favorite show of the semester. If you miss this, you’re making a gigantic mistake.
Wednesday, September 10:
Where I’ll Be: Doing double duty at DJ Mingram’s ’90s night (10pm at Soma) and DJ Legtwo (9pm at Boltini.)
You Should See: These guys, or DJ Bris (10pm at Cowboy Monkey) or DJ Stifler (Highdive).
Thursday, September 11:
Where I’ll Be: In Chicago for the weekend.
You Should See: Zoso: The Ultimate Tribute to Led Zeppelin at Canopy Club, 9pm, $8 cover. Because, hey, why not?
Friday, September 12:
Where I’ll Be: Chicago, eating too much food and celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday.
You Should See: World’s First Flying Machine at Urban Outfitters, 6pm, the final pre-Pygmalion show.
Saturday, September 13:
Where I’ll Be: You…guessed it! Chicago.
You Should See: Dianogah with Pinebender at Highdive. Two great shows, two days in a row.
Sunday, September 14:
Where I’ll Be: Stocking up on sleep for the coming week.
You Should Be: Making sure you’re set for Pygmalion! Got your pass? Camera? OverUC bookmarked? It’s almost time…
